- My journey into the jewelry world started in 1987 when I took my first jewelry making class. From then on I was hooked. Along the way, I have learned a variety of techniques which are finally culminating into my latest pieces of individually handcrafted artistic jewelry. My latest works are combining chainmaille and other beading techniques with lampwork beads (that I make, of course). The lampwork beads have been a whole learning curve in themselves but I have come to love doing sculptural pieces in hot glass. My favorite beads to make are the sculptural horse head beads. Everyone that sees them thinks they come out of a mold, but the only mold is inside my head. Mom says Italian glass + horse lover = my dream horse collection. We use the dream horses connection when we market our real "dream" horses. Our motto is "Our dreams come in COLOR, do yours?" because we raise buckskin and palomino horses!
